Abstract book

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for inclusion in the scientific programme in one of the following formats:

Oral presentation: a number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation
Poster presentation: Posters will be displayed in the xxx session on December x th, before/after the conference dinner. The abstract should be received before October 1, 2013.

Abstracts should be submitted using the abstract submission form below. Authors presenting abstracts should ensure that their registrations are received before the registration deadline.

Abstract submission deadline: October 1, 2013.
We will notify acceptance by October 15, 2013 .
Registration deathline: October 22, 2013 .
All abstracts will be placed at the internet shortly before the conference. They will not be printed.

For revisions or queries regarding abstracts:
1. If you do not receive acknowledgement for your abstract submission or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please DO NOT RESUBMIT your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Please email xxx with details of any revisions or queries. Please quote your reference number if you have one.

2. All abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Scientific Committee and authors will be notified of acceptance for talk by November 11, 2013. Accepted abstracts will not be printed.

3. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Programme committee under two categories: 1. Submission for oral or poster presentation, and 2. Submission for poster presentation only. In the first category the review outcome will be either "accept for oral presentation/seminar" or "accept for poster presentation". The organisation hopes to accept all posters, but if the number of submissions will be overwhelming, a selection will be made based on the abstracts.

4. You must register successfully first and your abstract received by the conference’s poster deadline to be considered for a poster presentation.

5. Abstract content should be scientific and relevant to the conference topic. Advertisements or solicitations will not be approved.

6. Abstracts should not exceed 200 words. This should include the title, co-authors and their affiliations, identifying each co-author to a particular affiliation with superscript, brackets or similar. Abstracts must be structured into the following separate sections: Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Abstracts will not include figures, tables or references. The use of abbreviations should be minimized.

7. If you are selected for an oral presentation, you will be invited for either a 'presentation' (10 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion).

8. Because of the limited time slot not all posters can be presented and we will have to make a selection. You will be informed about the selection before the conference. You can sign up for a poster commercial via the submission form below.

9. Poster size: Height 1.2 M, Width 0.8 M. Posters should be portrait (vertical) orientation.
