Benelux Bioinformatics Conference 2013

BBC 2013 - Bioinformatics at all scales of life

This year 2013, the 8th edition of the Benelux Bioinformatics Conference is going to be held in Brussels (Belgium) on December the 9th and the 10th.

The conference is organised by the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which have recently joined their efforts in the bioinformatics field with the creation of the Interuniversity Institute of Bioinformatics in Brussels (IB2).

Joint events

The RSG Belgium - ISCB Student Council is organising a BCC 2013 joint event on the 8th of December!

The event will start in the late afternoon (6 pm) of Sunday the 8th of December with a keynote lecture "The human microbiome in health and disease" held by
Prof. Jeroen Raes from the VIB Department of Structural Biology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and will be followed by a guided tour in Brussels and a drink afterwards in a Belgian beer café (see the time schedule below).
